Privileges for Voluntary Blood Donors:  

First time donor: Free consultation fees or general outpatient treatment and a 25 percent discount on medicine within one month from date of donation.  

Donor with donations of 2-9 times consecutively at frequency of at least once a year, within 3 months from the date of last donation will receive:  

• Free consultation fees for general outpatient treatment, 30 percent discount on medicines, simple x-ray and in-house laboratory testing.
• A 30% reduction from 2nd class ward In-patient treatment items only, which include medicines, simple x-ray. In-house laboratory testing and operating theatre fees (excluding consultant/surgeon's fees and bed charges) up to a maximum of 7 days stay.

Note: The above privileges are subject to terms and conditions as displayed at the Hospital's Laboratory. The Hospital management reserves the right to review the privileges as and when necessary.  
 
Conditions

All privileges for blood donor are not applicable for the following:

• Treatments as a result of self inflicted injury, illness or disease because of misconduct on the part of the donor.
• Treatments as a result of illness, injury or disablement due to alcohol taking, attempted suicide, hazardous sport, the performance of any unlawful act, as well as plastic and cosmetic surgery.
• Medical treatment for unlawful use of drugs and narcotics and venereal diseases. 
• Treatment of any mental illness certified as such by the Medical Officer. 
• Health food, health supplements and treatments for cosmetic purposes.
