| Endoscopy
The Endoscopic Services Department at Tung Shin Hospital performs a vital function in early detection and identification of diseases and abnormalities. The colon, esophagus, bronchus, stomach and gall bladder may be examined and evaluated using a videoscope or a tiny camera. The procedure usually takes less than 30 minutes during which the patients are given mild sedation for comfort. Patients are normally sent home within two to three hours. The Endoscopic Services Department meets all state regulatory requirements for safe patient care and strict video-scope processing. Area of Service Coverage
